Campground Omelette Recipe

Here is a simple yet effective egg Recipe guaranteed to load you up with high quality protein and great taste. As eggs are one of our bodybuilding staple foods, we like to use them in as many ways as possible. The Campground Omelette is not exactly a new method of cooking as it has been a part of campground gatherings and tailgate parties for many years. Not only is the campground omelette a go-to recipe for the outdoors, it can be just as easy and effective in your own kitchen. This omelette recipe is so easy that you will be surprised at how good it tastes.

Grab yourself a heavy duty freezer bag and you are ready to go.

Campground Omelette Ingredients

4 Large eggs (or 8 egg whites)
1/4 Cup Low-fat cheddar cheese, shredded,
1/2 Cup various vegetables (I.E. onions, peppers, mushrooms, etc.)
Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste

Campground Omelette Directions

Bring water to a boil in a pot.
Combine eggs, cheese, vegetables of choice, seasonings in the freezer bag. Zip the bag tightly.
Add the sealed bag to the boiling water.
Cook the eggs for 13-15 minutes ensuring that the bad remains submerged in the boiling water.
Remove the bag from the boiling water. Be careful when opening the bag as it will steam.
Slide the eggs out of the bag.
Top with salsa or avocado.
