Google’s Amsterdam Office is like many Google offices worldwide that takes inspiration from the country they are based. For this new office in Amsterdam, Google commissioned local design firm D/DOCK to create an office that would combine Google’s unique design style with Dutch themes. In one part of the office, there is the brick and graffiti concept that is from the company’s origins. There is a foosball table located in one part of the office, which is a staple to any startup offices. Visitors and employees would also notice the Dutch-themed pieces such as the stroopwafels ceilings, a reception desk that looks like it came out of a cruiser bicycle and 1960s-inspired caravans that serve as the meeting rooms in several parts of the office.
