New! Mineral Sunscreen | Aruba Aloe

It's important for all of us to help our oceans to stay as clean possible and because there's so much chemicals thrown into our oceans our coral reefs began to die.
It's a big thing now laws have been written in the Caribbean but also in other parts of the world to eliminate any chemicals in our products for example in the sunscreens the famous oxybenzone (reseachers say that it can be very toxic, can cause endometriosis and it can be a risk to the reproductive system.)

Our Minister of Regional Planning, Infrastructure and Environment gave one year of transition  not only for the companies but also for the customers in 2020 it will be banned for good. Also I have noticed that in the west side of the island a beach called baby beach they placed a sign that says 'to not use chemical based sunscreen', and after realizing how are coral reefs are now on this day plenty of them have died out because of us. It's time to make the change..

Plenty of existing brands have changed or are changing the formulas and ingredients of their sunscreen and one of them is the Aruba Aloe Suncreens they're all Broad Spectrum (Protects against UVA & UVB) and Very Water Resistant.
All the new Mineral Suncreens  are lightweight, not greasy, quick absorbent good for everyday use.

Active Ingredients:
Titanium Dioxide 10%
Zinc Oxide 10%

Inactive Ingredients:
Water, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Propanediol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera Gel from Aruba), Acetylated Hydrogenated Vegetable Glyceride, Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate, Fragrance, Butyloctyl Salicylate, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Stearic Acid, Alumina, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Acrylates/Beheneth-25 Methacrylate Copolymer, Tocopheryl (Vitamin E) Acetate, Sodium Hydroxide.

Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure, reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating , immediately after towel drying, atleast every two hours. At all times you should protect the product in the container from excessive heat and direct sun.

(*)Maybe you're wondering what's the difference between a chemical suncreen and a mineral based sunscreen?

-The chemical sunscreen do absorbs UV rays converts the rays into heat and releases them from the body. The active ingredients in chemical sunscreens like oxybenzone.

-Mineral based sunscreen doesn't absorb sits on top of the skin and reflects the sun rays. The minerals titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are the main active ingredients in mineral sunscreens.

I hope you enjoyed this new post, see you in the next one😉🧡
