What do you get when you put together a bald guy, an Asian dude and a blonde chick?  Our family!  Also... The Smashing Pumpkins! 

If you're fans of 90's rock - it couldn't have been a more perfect fit, am I right?  Working around our babe's bald-ish head, Bowie's the lead singer, Billy Corgan, Hal's the guitarist, James Iha, and I'm the female bassist, D'arcy. 

The Costumes were fairly simple to put together and comfortable to wear - which is key with a 1-year old.  Our clothes were already ours, or found at a thrift shop.  Bowie's tiny metallic leggings we got off Amazon.  We made Billy Corgan's famous ZERO shirt with iron-on letters.  For props, we found some old Guitar Hero guitars at Goodwill and a toy guitar for Bowie.  Hal made the microphone out of a toilet paper roll and a ball of crumpled up tin foil.  Then with some rock star makeup and hair streaks, we were set!
