This muddy buddy recipe is such a fun and easy treat to snack on! I used a peanut butter Protein Powder (because who doesn’t love peanut butter?!) but you can use any flavor protein powder you want – chocolate, snickerdoodle, cookies and cream, etc. The possibilities are endless. This snack provides the perfect ratio of protein, carbs and fats to help you hit those macros throughout the day!

***Cooking tip: you don’t have to melt the peanut/almond butter with the coconut oil but I found that melting the two together first helped blend all the yummy ingredients together!

  • 1 Cup Chex Mix cereal
  • 2 Tablespoons Peanut/almond butter
  • 1/2 Tbsp Coconut oil, melted
  • 1 Scoop Protein powder (I used peanut butter protein powder)
  1. Melt the peanut/almond butter and coconut oil together for approximately 30 seconds in the microwave until both are completely melted. Stir in the protein powder.

  2. In a small mixing bowl, mix together chex cereal and the peanut butter/oil/protein powder until it’s well blended.
