Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha was all over the news on 8^th October for shocking reason. Nushrratt Bharuccha found herself in distress situation after she was stranded in Israel amidst the ongoing war between Israel and Palestinian militant group Hamas. Initially, her team reported a loss of contact with her but she was seen arriving safely in the city. Amidst all the chaos, Nushrratt’s video with her co-stars from Akelli singing a Bollywood song is going viral.

Nushrratt Bharuccha stranded in Israel

For the uninitiated, Nushrratt visited the country to attend the 39th Haifa International Film Festival. The actress’ movie Akelli was selected at the film festival. Things took an ugly turn when she was stranded in the country and even her team lost contact with her. A statement giving her details read, “Nushrratt has been unfortunately stranded in Israel. She had flown there to attend the Haifa International Film Festival. The last time that I managed to get in touch with her was around 12.30 pm earlier today (Saturday)”.

On Sunday, 9^th October the team could manage to get her information. The actress’ team member shared, “We have finally managed to get in touch with Nushrratt and with the help of the Embassy, she is being safely brought back home. We did not get a direct flight so she is on a connecting flight home.”

Later, the actress was seen arriving safely in Mumbai and was seen holding back her tears. For those unversed, Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas carried out an attack on Israel that resulted in 1000 casualties and over 900 injuries. Hamas has even claimed to have taken Israeli soldiers and civilians as hostages.
