Rhea Chakraborty shared a clip on her social media handle where she is heard speaking about the ordeal. Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to her Instagram story to share the video and wrote, “Hero @rhea_chakraborty,” along with three red heart emojis. Rhea too replied to Samantha’s story and wrote, “Right back at you“.

In the video, Rhea Chakraborty spoke about how her family stood by her during the tough times. She also shared how her close friend stood by her. “If it wasn’t for my mom, dad, my brother and even Nidhi my friend is here. Some of my other friends Shibani Dandekar, Anisha, few of my girlfriends stood by me. We were a handful of people and we were facing mobs the size of billions. But I think that’s all you need, three or four people who trust you and love you. They are pillars of sanity. And you’re good, you’re golden”, Rhea said while speaking about her tough phase.

For those unversed, Rhea and Sushant were in a relationship when the actor passed away in 2020. Days after his death, Rhea was accused of abetment of suicide and money laundering. She was even accused of drugging him and doing black magic on him. After such reports were doing rounds, netizens labelled her as ‘Chudail’. During the event when she opened up about difficulty post SSR’s death, she addressed accusations hurled at her.
