On Anupam Kher’s chat show ‘The Anupam Kher Show – Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai’ in 2014, Alia opened up about her relationship with Pooja. The actress had made it clear that there is no fakeness in her relationship with step-sister Pooja.
The Raazi actress had said, “Actually recently it’s become much better. We have gotten close as a family. People would always say that you have a step sister, step mother and all that but it never bothered me because our family is so real and honest with each other. There is no façade or fakeness. So, when we spend time with each other, we genuinely like to spend time with each other.”

Prior to that, Pooja, Alia and the entire family attended Shaheen Bhatt’s book launch event in Mumbai proving that they are close.
On the work front, Pooja was last seen in Netflix series Bombay Begums.
Talking about Alia, she was last seen in Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva. The actress will be next seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani with Ranveer Singh. Alia is also set to make her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone co-starring Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo, and Matthias Schweighofer.
