Kundali Bhagya actress Isha Anand Sharma got hitched to her beau Vasdev Singh Jasrotia on May 2 in her hometown, Rajasthan. Vasdev is a pilot by profession. Isha and Vasdev had a court marriage on February 2, 2020.
When asked why she kept her wedding a secret, Isha told ETimes that they wanted to have a grand wedding with their relatives and friends in attendance. But they had to postpone the plan due to the Covid-19 pandemic. "We were waiting for things to return to normalcy to organise the wedding in a way we had envisioned it. But at our families’ insistence, we decided not to delay it any further and had an intimate wedding, complete with rituals, in Rajasthan," said the Choti Sarrdaarni actress.
Isha met Vasdev two-and-a-half years ago at a common friend’s get-together and the duo fell in love a year later. “It’s a crazy love story. I broke up with my boyfriend a few months before I met Vasdev. He knew about me and the fact that I was in a relationship. We got talking at the party and I told him that I had parted ways with my boyfriend," said Isha.
She said that then she was shooting for Kundali Bhagya close to his residence, so they used to often meet after the pack up. Soon they realized that are meant for each other.
While talking about Vasu, the actress said that he is "mature and intelligent", while she is "childish and goofy". "So, there is a fine balance between us. He keeps correcting me. That’s the main reason I fell in love with him and his IQ," added Isha.
The newlyweds will soon host a wedding reception for their friends once the situation is better.
Today, Isha shared a few pictures from their wedding and wrote, "Steered by love 💕, we feel blessed to start our new journey together All because two people fell in love. I’m so grateful and blessed to have you as my loving husband congratulations @captain_vasdev_fitpilot on being stuck with me forever!Late post though due corona lag ....Court marriage took place on 2nd feb ,followed by rescheduled socially distanced micro wedding on 2nd may..due to second corona wave ....only closed family members were present but yes party on post corona or post vaccination 😀Stay safe , god bless !!(sic)".
