HISTORIC HIGHWAY PROJECT REACHES FINISH LINE

Australia’s biggest regional road project has been completed, with the final section of the Pacific Highway upgrade between Woolgoolga and Ballina on the NSW north coast opening to traffic. The 15km section between Devils Pulpit and Woodburn marked the final link in the 657km Pacific Highway duplication between Hexham and the Queensland border – a project which has involved more than 40,000 jobs
