Hard Rock Hotel in Tenerife is situated in Playa Paraiso on the south of the island in between La Caleta and Callao Salvaje.
This is a great boost to the area which has had the 5 Star 'Roca Nivaria GH' Hotel there for several years.
It was once known as the ' Extension to Playa de Las Americas' by Travel Companies years ago and tourists complained that there was nothing there and was no where near the night live and beaches of Playa de Las Americas, costing a fortune to go back and forth.
There is a good choice of restaurants now, but no beaches as such. Hard Rock Hotel has refurbished the Lido and turned it into a tropical oasis, which now looks very smart.
It is still a place to go if you like staying in your Hotel and using the fantastic facilities there.
Alternatively a very short taxi ride away is the new beach with Bar/Restaurant at Callao Salvaje.
