The Waikoloa Beach Marriott is one of the two large hotels in the Waikoloa Beach Resort.  Over the course of the last decade they have done several upgrades of the property to keep the hotel to the luxurious standards you would expect in a Hawaii vacation.

The most immediate and noticeable upgrade was the entrance to the property.  There is a nice round about with a large entry with water features that are more welcoming than the old entrance.  As you enter the hotel there is a garden area with smaller areas to get checked in giving the more informal casual feel you would expect in Hawaii.

If you continue past the entrance you will overlook the upgraded pool area.  This was an area that needed a facelift and they not only gave some areas a facelift, but also totally redid some areas.  Here you will find more space for lounge chairs and two pools that are set on multiple layers.  The first pool is an infinity type pool with a jacuzzi.  On the lower area there is another pool that a waterslide runs into.  Just off of this is a sand bottom kids pool area as well as a jacuzzi.  The Waikoloa Beach Marriott Hotel is the only hotel at Waikoloa Beach Resort that offers beach access and these amenities are just steps away from the beach.
