All Sikkim Divyang Ekta Association thanks CWD Department for 3 days program

18.02.23: The Sikkim Government's Women and Child Development Department organized a three-day (February 15-17) capacity building and counselling for persons with disabilities and promotion of NGOs for the formation of National Trust/Act Advocacy Groups, and Legal Services for Persons with Disabilities. More than 70 participants participated. The Minister of Women and Child Development, Sanjeet Kharel, inaugurated a program at Saramsa Enclave, near Saramsa Garden. 




Members of the All Sikkim Divyang Ekta Association thanked the Women and Child Development Department and everyone who took part in the three-day program. The program was very helpful and much needed. "The program was of high significance, and we all benefited from it," they all echoed.

All Sikkim Divyang Ekta Association has expressed its appreciation to Secretary Ganga D Pradhan (IAS) (WCDD), Principal Director Normit Lepcha (WCDD), Joint Commissioner Dr. M.B. Chhetri (WCDD), Assistant Commissioner PN Pradhan (WCDD), Assistant Director, SWO, Inspectors, and staff at WCDD for all their support, encouragement, and care for individuals with disabilities. Special thanks were extended to Assistant Commissioner Prem Narayan Pradhan (WCDD) for his efforts, words of encouragement and proper coordination with the members of the PWD in this program.
