Aston Martin Unveils New Vantage GT3 and GT4 Race Cars for 2024 Debut

Aston Martin is revving up for an exciting debut in the world of motorsport, as the iconic British automaker reveals the first details of its upcoming Vantage GT3 and GT4 Race Cars, scheduled to hit the competitive circuit in 2024. These new models, set to be an evolution of their existing racing machine, have already embarked on the final phase of rigorous testing in preparation for their inaugural competitive appearances.

Derived from the soon-to-be-unveiled new Vantage road car, which is slated for a grand reveal in Q1 2024, both the Vantage GT3 and GT4 racers are the brainchildren of Aston Martin Racing. This division is not only responsible for crafting these racers but is also in the midst of constructing the company's highly-anticipated Valkyrie Hypercar, set to join the World Endurance Championship and IMSA series in 2025. Although the final design of these racing marvels remains a well-guarded secret, we've been granted an exclusive first look at their evolving aesthetics.

In accordance with current regulations, the Vantage GT3 will be propelled by an enhanced version of the existing race car's 4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. Meanwhile, the Vantage GT4 will harness the powertrain upgrades that Aston Martin intends to introduce in its new road car in 2024. Presently, GT3 vehicles in this class produce anywhere from 500 to 600 horsepower and tip the scales between 1,200 to 1,300 kilograms.

Aston Martin Racing, with a history adorned by 19 class victories at the prestigious Le Mans race, is eagerly optimistic about the prospects of its new GT race cars. These promising contenders are primed to carry forward the brand's legacy of endurance racing excellence, especially as the new GT3 category prepares to take the reins from the GTE category in 2024. However, this renewed pursuit of glory will not be without its challenges, as it finds itself in stiff competition with the likes of Ferrari and Porsche, both showcasing their formidable 296 GT3 and GT3 R offerings. The racetrack awaits, and Aston Martin is gearing up for an exhilarating new chapter in its racing history.
