Who is Jessica Ditzel?
Jessica Ditzel, was born on the 18th of July 1975 in Sugar Land, Texas. Not to be confused with The Simpsons producer Jessica Schimmel, Jessica Ditzel hails from a family of musicians. She is the daughter of famous musician and guitarist Jeff Conrad Ditzel. Jessica attended Doherty High School in Colorado Springs, graduating in 1993. She then went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Arts and Technical Theater from California State University – Long Beach.
After graduating, Jessica Ditzel worked as an account executive at Robert Half Technology, a tech firm based in California. Ditzel then moved on to work as a management assistant at car rental company, Rent A Car. She was later hired by Volvo Motorsports as a product analyst in 2013. Prior to meeting Rogan, Jessica was engaged to the lead singer of R&B group H-Town, Keven “Dino” Conner. The pair also had a daughter named Kayja Rose in 1997. Eventually, Ditzel and Conner split up, with Conner tragically losing his life years later in a car accident.
How did Joe Rogan meet his Wife?
Jessica began working as a cocktail waitress at a bar in Los Angeles. That is where she first met her future husband Joe Rogan in 2001. The couple then started dating for many years until Ditzel became pregnant with Rogan’s child in 2008. While few reporters have written much about their relationship leading up to the pregnancy, it’s fair to assume things went well. The pair tied the knot shortly after the birth of their first daughter. Despite Joe Rogan’s strong stance against legal marriage on his podcast, Ditzel and Rogan eventually got married in 2009.
Still, Rogan has not changed his opinion on legal marriage. He has made it very clear that he has a prenup setup in case the relationship goes south. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Rogan attributes the success of his long-lasting relationship with Ditzel to the amount of freedom she gives him. “She lets me do whatever I do. That’s how we get along well. She doesn’t fuck with me. A prenup? Of course. I’m ridiculous and dumb, but I’m not stupid.”
Together, Jessica Ditzel and Joe Rogan have two daughters, Lola and Rosy Rogan. Joe Rogan also adopted Kayja Rose as his stepdaughter in 2009. The couple currently owns homes in Bell Canyon, California but relocated to Austin, Texas in the summer of 2020. The Rogans have made Austin their main base with Joe now hosting his podcast at a new studio in the capital city.
Shortly after their marriage, Jessica kickstarted her modeling career. She signed with the model agency Model Management and modeled for a Korean brand named Wholesome. Nowadays, Jessica works as a TV producer and still does some modeling gigs. However, she tends to stay out of the limelight and avoid the public eye, unlike her husband.
