I do not plan to to make many enhancement to F-450 Frame soon. Next Phase probably I will add servo mechanism to keep any package under drone frame but nothing more.
To test some more functionalities I decided to setup next copter base on my current “test drone” parts. This will allow me to work on raspberry based functions and test some new features for me like (gimbal) with a new frame. I think this is good solution, F450 will be for regular LTE flight tests and servo based enhancements and a new one will be for future changes. A few weeks ago I researched e-shops and I did order copy of TBS Discovery frame called: Reptile 500 V3. Frame is not so modern, construction dated 2013 but it's fine for me now.
Main plates are big enough to handle pixhawk, raspberry PI3 and gimbal and additionally this frame is compatible with some elements of F450 frame so I will be able to share some parts between them from time to time.
This is the most costs effective solution for me. Frame was realy cheap (cost below 20$) and I think I will find cheap 2312 motors for it also.
