From the net season, Joe Gomez will be wearing a No.2 Shirt at Liverpool, the Reds' official website confirms.
The defender wore the No.12 shirt since the 2015/16 season when he joined the club at the age of 18.
Now, he'll wear the shirt that was vacant since Nathaniel Clyne left Liverpool in 2020.
Earlier this summer, the 25-year-old also signed a new deal with the Reds. A new shirt number is another indication that he is seen as a part of the long-term future at the club.
