KG Jayan, a celebrated figure in the world of Carnatic music, reportedly died early Tuesday morning. He was 89. The maestro breathed his last at his residence in Tripunithura, located in Kerala's Ernakulam district. Jayan had been grappling with various health issues and was undergoing treatment for multiple conditions.
