The growth of India’s Sarfaraz Khan in domestic cricket has been much lauded. The teenage sensation has yet to make his India debut. He has been constantly blasting runs for pleasure in previous seasons.
Astonishingly, Khan holds the world’s second-best first-class average, trailing only the Great Sir Don Bradman.
Khan’s dad, Naushad Khan, reportedly remembered a touching moment. In which his son compared his lifestyle to that of cricket superstar Sachin Tendulkar’s boy Arjun Tendulkar.
Even though he hasn’t represented Indian Cricket Team in Test cricket, Sarfaraz Khan has recently established himself as one of the most dependable batsmen on the Indian domestic circuit.
Sarfaraz Khan, a Mumbai hitter, has made the headlines after being left out of Team India’s test team. Although amassing a tonne of runs on the local circuit across many categories.
Naushad Khan, Sarfaraz Khan’s father, remembered a previous conversation with his son in which the latter equated himself to Sachin Tendulkar’s kid, Arjun Tendulkar.
Sarfaraz Khan has emerged as one of the most dependable hitters on the Indian domestic circuit in recent years. Although he has yet to play India in Test cricket. Despite accumulating runs over the year, the selectors have come under fire for leaving him out of the team.
Sarfaraz Khan’s Father Shares Story:
While referring to Indian Express, Sarfaraz Khan’s dad, Naushad Khan, remembered an emotional conversation. Sarfaraz briefly likened himself to Arjun Tendulkar. The kid hitter thought Arjun Tendulkar had limitless resources.
Sarfaraz was certainly not as fortunate as Arjun. Since he had to work very hard to get to where he is now. Naushad Khan’s father would perform odd jobs in order to survive and assist his son’s cricket career.
Sarfaraz Khan is regarded as a domestic sensation in India, having had 3 successive spectacular regional performances with the bat. He has 12 tonnes, including one triple and two double-hundreds. But everything has been in vain because he is still waiting for his first India call.

Sarfaraz slammed another century in the Ranji Trophy match against Delhi. He put even more weight on the national authorities to bring him into India’s test team after being overlooked for the initial two Tests against Australia.
In the Ranji Trophy competitions, Sarfaraz Khan has been on fire. In the 2019/20 and 2021/22 seasons, he had 928 and 982 runs, respectively. This season, he has scored 556 runs at 92.66 in six matches, including three centuries.
Similarly, Arjun Tendulkar is having a successful season in the present Ranji Trophy. Arjun scored a century for Goa in a Ranji Trophy game against Rajasthan.
He has collected 12 wickets in six games, with a top performance of 3/104 against Rajasthan. Both youthful talents have yet to make their debuts in India.
