Hotel F6 is one of the popular boutique hotels in Helsinki. It’s located in the center, next to Esplanade park. The rooms in this hotel are air conditioned to combat the summer heat. The hotel offers a Finnish breakfast every day, and there is also a bar located at the property. The hotel also seems to offer free bicycle rentals for guests.

What people liked?

Breakfast – The Finnish breakfast this hotel serves was liked by many.

Staff – The staff was relaxed yet friendly, so say plenty of guests who stayed here.

Surprisingly silent – Even though the hotel is located on a busy street there were no noises to be heard from outside!

Small room – The 20 square meter rooms were supposedly too small for some people.

Location – Approaching this hotel is easy due to central location next to a transport hub.

Food – This property puts emphasis on food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all top rated by guests!

No noise in many rooms – If you get a room with windows to inner yard there won’t be any noise in your room.

What people didn’t like?

Cold in winter – A few guests commented the rooms are cold. However, as far as I know, the problem has since been fixed due to pipe repair.

Hotel Indigo is located on the Boulevardi street, in the trendy and hip district of Punavuori. They have a wide range of amenities, such as charging point for electric car, free wireless and 24h gym for guests. Being a top-class hotel, there’s also a bistro and lounge bar in the hotel for hungry and thirsty guests.

What people liked?

Silence – Even though the street has cars and trams, guests reported there is no noise in rooms.

Top beds – A lot of guests said the beds in this property are excellent to sleep in.

Breakfast – Many hotels get upvoted for this, also Hotel Indigo. The food they serve in the mornings tastes good!

What people didn’t like?

Expensive car parking – If you come by car and want to use the hotel’s parking lot, it will cost around 35 euros a day.

The Lilla Roberts is situated in the southern part of Helsinki center. The rooms have art deco design, mini bar and air conditioning. They also rent bicycles for guests and have always-open gym for working out. The property also houses a bistro restaurant and a bar.

Beautiful decoration – The rooms were decorated in a way that pleases the eye, so thought many of the guests.

Great beds – The hotel put effort to beds so it’s comfortable to sleep in them.

Location – The location is great in the authentic part of central Helsinki. Tram can be taken on the next street if you want to venture further.

What people didn’t like?

Can get noisy – Few guests complained about traffic noise from outside during nights.

Beautiful building – The building itself is old, beautiful and full of charm from the past.

Staff is friendly – Not that it’s unique to this hotel, but also the people who work for Seurahuone are friendly and helpful.

What people didn’t like?

Some rooms noisy – There are plenty of trams going in front of the hotel. So if you get a room with windows to street, expect to hear the trams too.

7. Next Hotel Rivoli Jardin

Located in the older parts of central Helsinki, the Hotel Rivoli Jardin offers rooms with unique decoration, a mini bar and television. The hotel also has a gym, business center and a bookable sauna. By foot the trip to railway station takes about 10 minutes.

What people liked?

Quiet hotel – It is located in center with a lot of people and cars. But many guests still said they couldn’t hear noises from the street.

Breakfast buffet – The breakfast was tasty and had many foods to select from.

Cheerful staff – The staff at the reception seemed happy, a few guests pointed out.

What people didn’t like?

Cramped breakfast room – The breakfast itself is tasty but the premises are bit too small for so many people.
