Unfortunately, there are many cheaters and especially in holy places like Vrindavan.

It is due to ignorance of Vedic knowledge that cheaters will cheat the ignorant and less intelligent. Please get Vedic knowledge with proper understanding from genuine gurus and not any bogus self-claimed gurus with no substance.

Some qualities of a genuine gurus:

1. They will advocate family values, truthfulness, compassion, humility, appreciation, and satisfaction.
2. They will not be motivated by money.
3. They will have an open-door policy and thus anyone should be able to visit them.
4. They will be responsive in a timely manner.
5. They will have proper knowledge of the Bhagavad-Gita, and Shrimad-Bhagavatam.
6. They will be authors of preaching materials like books. This proves to some degree that they have sufficient knowledge.

1. Claim of being a Sakhi from the spiritual world.

This is complete nonsense.

“Once in a day of Brahma, He descends to this world to manifest His transcendental pastimes.” (Caitanya-caritamrta Adi 3.6)

The sakhis are expansions of Radha Rani and they are the pleasure potency of Lord Krishna and so they only appear when Lord Krishna appears in His original form.

Lord Krishna appears once in the daytime of Brahma; thus He appears once in every 8.64 billion years. When He appears the Sakhis and others appear with Him to give with pleasure, as they are His pleasure potency. If anyone claims to be a Sakhi today, they must be rejected, because Lord Krishna and His Sakhis left this planet and universe, 5,000 years ago. They are now performing their Lilas in another universe.

2. Claim of Deity speaking.

 This is complete nonsense, there is no Deity that speaks.

The founder of ISKCON, Swami Srila Prabhupada, made millions of non-Hindus into devotees of Lord Krishna and he opened more than 100 temples. His Deity did not speak.

The founder of BAPS, Pramukh Swami Maharaj, opened more than 1,000 temples and has millions of followers. His Deity did not speak.

Thus, if some cheap guru claims that his/her Deity speaks. One must completely reject him/her.

The Vedic Deities are God, but their purpose is not to speak, but to stand in once place and give people the opportunity to serve Him.

3. Claim of being God.

If anyone claims to be God, simply ask them to show the universe in their mouth.  If they cannot. Spit on them.

4. Claim of No knowledge is needed.

If anyone states that no knowledge is needed, they are most foolish and must be rejected.

Without knowledge there is nothing. Performing rituals like Deity worship, fasting, chanting, pilgrimage etc.. These are all useless if one does not have proper knowledge and understanding.

Lord Krishna appears once in the daytime of Brahma (every 8.64 billion years), specially to give knowledge by speaking the Bhagavad-Gita on planet earth. Thus knowledge is very important.

“Although I am unborn and My transcendental body never deteriorates, and although I am the Lord of all living entities, I still appear in every millennium in My original transcendental form. Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious practice, O descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of irreligion – at that time I descend Myself. To deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of religion, I Myself appear, millennium after millennium.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 4.6-8)

5. Expose the cheaters.

Many people think that we should leave It to God to punish the bad. But this is not what Lord Krishna advises. The genuine devotees of Lord Krishna will take part in His mission to re-establish religion and destroy or expose the irreligious and cheaters. This is done by distributing the teachings of the Bhagavad-Gita, Shrimad-Bhagavatam, and stand up for the truth and expose the cheaters.

“For one who explains this supreme secret to the devotees, pure devotional service is guaranteed, and at the end he will come back to Me. There is no servant in this world more dear to Me than he, nor will there ever be one more dear.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 18.68-69)

If cheaters are not exposed, then they will multiply, and more people will be misguided and corrupted. There will be more degradation in society, which will result in more suffering for everyone.

If Sanatan-Dharma is not promoted with purity, then the man made irreligious systems will take over the world and there will be more hellish life for everyone.
