The world has changed forever for the Jewish people since October 7 and things will never be the same. Everyone has correctly prioritized giving to the immediate needs of Israel in these last six weeks, but the war on Jews in media is also a battle we must fight. We’ve been at it since 2007. We launched the only Jewish Hollywood Bureau in 2021 and we have the ears of executives across the industry. We will continue to advocate for whole and nuanced depictions of Jews, as the world dehumanizes us. We will continue to educate about the dangers of tropes in media through academic studies, with leading groups like the Norman Lear Center. We will return to Sundance, the Television Academy and to studios to advocate for Jews, when every other group gets a seat at the table. We are changing how Jews are depicted in Hollywood and we need your help to keep going. We are grateful for anything you can give.
