Bernie Sanders Campaign spent about $160 million in 120 days and started the month of May with just $5.8 million on hand, compared to Hillary Clinton’s $30 million on hand.

The Huffington Post reports, “The two Democrats’ campaigns have raised almost identical sums, according to FEC reports — $212 million for Sanders, compared with Clinton’s $211 million. The Clinton campaign said in a press release that its total fundraising was slightly above $213 million.”

Sanders campaign abruptly fired hundreds of staffers in April, claiming that it was pivoting towards the final primaries and caucuses.

Sanders spent about $300,000 to visit the Vatican to bolster his foreign policy cred, but the trip backfired when Pope Francis clapped back really fast that his encounter with Sanders was not meant to be a political statement. Bernie spent thousands of those $27 donations for a handshake.

I am really not sure how Bernie can criticize Hillary’s campaign fundraising when his campaign is the recipient of three investigations from the Federal Election Commission (FEC). Can you imagine if Clinton was under investigation by the FEC? Sanders and his lackeys would portray her as corrupt and possibly engaging in criminal acts.
