Governor of rivers state Nyesom Wike has accused former Governor and Minister of Transportation Chubuike Rotimi Amaechi to have allegedly squandered N3trillion naira revenue from Federal Government during his administration.

The minister denied the allegation leveled against him as a lie of lies,I did not even receive up to N1trillion naira as a governor both from IGR and funds from federal allocation, so you can see the politics of lies,said the minister.

The honourable minister of transportation said he became the first governor to implement the Bureau of public procurement BPP act in Nigeria during  his tenure,Amaechi disclosed these at a stakeholders forum on corruption organized by the federal ministry of justice in Abuja.
