Talk of Delhi: Poster boy of Congress in Yogi Sarkar's campaign

New Delhi: The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has become a laughing stock due to hoardings put up to promote farmers' welfare schemes. The photograph of the farmer shown in this poster was used by the Congress three years ago in the posters made on the occasion of Rajiv Gandhi's birth anniversary. Congress made the farmer Harnam Singh the poster boy to show how happiness has come in the life of farmers under the rule of Rajiv Gandhi and Congress, Yogi's government has also made him the poster boy. Yogi Sarkar has blamed the designer for this scam, but people are taking a swipe at Yogi Sarkar on social media. People are saying that they understand that BJP is copying Congress in all other matters, but they had to do something original in the farmer's poster.

Local leaders will be asked before joining AAP

In the Congress executive meeting held in Hyderabad, Congress leaders have expressed their displeasure over the alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party. When Ajay Maken and Pratap Bajwa raised the issue of not being able to trust the AAP, Mallikarjun Kharge had to assure them that the leaders of both the states would be discussed before joining hands with the AAP for the Lok Sabha polls in Delhi and Punjab. Discussions will be held with local leaders before the seat allocation meeting to be held in Bhopal.

The leaders who are opposing you questioned that, if you really want to defeat the BJP, why have you helped the BJP by cutting the votes of the Congress in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan? These leaders are of the opinion that AAP should withdraw from the assembly elections in these three states and help the Congress. Khadge has assured to raise this issue in India's meeting.

Video of Congress MLA among piles of notes

A video of Chhattisgarh Congress MLA Ramkumar Yadav has gone viral. In this video, Yadav is sitting on a sofa and many bundles of five hundred rupee notes are lying in front of him. Yadav claims that he has nothing to do with these notes and does not even look at the notes himself. This video has been made as part of a conspiracy to spoil his image.

Yadav has made an interesting argument that if my photo with the plane is published, does it mean that I am the owner of the plane? If I stand in front of a palace and take a picture, does the palace become my property?

BJP has demanded investigation of this video by CBI. The BJP says that this is proof that the Congress has committed rampant corruption by abusing the power it got in Chhattisgarh.

Abundance of defections among BJP office bearers in Punjab

In Punjab, BJP state president Sunil Jakhde has announced the state office bearers due to which there is tension and dissatisfaction among the old BJP leaders. Out of the 61 office-bearers announced by Jakhde, 30 leaders are those who left Congress, AAP or Akali Dal and joined BJP a few months ago.

In the core committee of BJP, defections have increased compared to the original BJP. The core committee of 21 members has 10 original BJP members while 11 defectors. The defectors including Captain Amarinder Singh and Manpreet Badal have been included in the core committee.

Sources of BJP say that Jakhad cannot be released without giving importance to the defectors. It has been proven in these years that the original BJP leader cannot make any gains in Punjab. If the BJP wants to move forward, it has to rely on strong leaders from other parties.

Congress will make three more Deputy Chief Ministers in Karnataka

There has been a demand to appoint three new Deputy Chief Ministers in the Siddaramaiah government before the Lok Sabha Elections in Karnataka. Cooperation Minister K.N. Ranjana has said that if the Congress wants to win the Lok Sabha elections, it should make deputy chief minister from Veershaiva Lingayat, SC-ST and minority communities. Current Chief Minister D.K. Ranjana believes that Shivakumar belongs to the Vokkalinga community, so all four communities will get importance if they are considered as important votes in Karnataka. Since Ranjana is considered very close to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, it is believed that Ranjana made this statement at the behest of Siddaramaiah. Ranjana has been forwarded to know whether this formula is acceptable to Shivakumar or not.

Sources close to Shivakumar say that even if Thirteen Deputy Chief Ministers are made instead of three, it does not matter to Shivakumar. He also claims that Shivkumar will have to be given the post of chief minister after the Lok Sabha elections.

Preparation to introduce Women's Reservation Bill

The special session of the Parliament has started but the Modi government has not clarified about bringing a bill to reserve 33 percent seats for women in the Parliament and state legislatures in this session.

BJP sources say that the Modi government will surprise everyone by bringing a bill in this regard in Parliament on September 20. Keeping in mind the Lok Sabha elections, the Modi government is making announcements one after another. BJP says that the Women's Reservation Bill will also be a step taken in that direction. The BJP leadership is silent on what this bill will look like.

The opposition parties including the Congress say that when the opposition parties have already proposed to bring the women's reservation bill, it will not be a surprise if the Modi government brings the bill, but it will be a victory for the opposition parties. The opposition also proposed to bring the women's reservation bill in the all-party meeting called by the government.
