New Delhi: BJP has released a video clarifying that Modi will be the face of BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. In this four-and-a-half-minute video, it has been talked about how Modi got the prime ministership and made the country great by overcoming one obstacle after another since he was the chief minister of Gujarat. In this video, it is indicative that Modi is at the center and not BJP.
Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have been targeted in the video. It has been presented that Modi moved forward from Sonia Gandhi's Maut Ka Saudagar and Mani Shankar Iyer's Chaywala comments before 2014 to Rahul's comments including Chowkidar Chor Hai in 2019. Mehbooba worshiped in the temple and performed Abhishek
Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti offered pooja at Mahadev's temple, leading to political accusations. During her visit to Poonch district, Mehbooba went to Navagraha Mandir along the border and offered prayers. Mehbooba circumambulated the entire temple and offered water to the Shivling. Mehbooba also offered floral tributes to Yashpal Sharma's statue in the temple premises.
BJP has termed Mehbooba Mufti's visit to the temple as a political gimmick. BJP leader Ranbir Singh Pathania said that in 2008, Mehboobani's party opposed the allotment of land to Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board. Mehbooba's party PDP did not allow temporary transfer of land to the Shrine Board for construction of rooms for devotees. Now they have fallen at the feet of Lord Mahadev because political advantage is visible. Mehbooba's visit to the temple is merely a prank, which will not lead to any results.
Sawant-Bhushan Shinde's Shiv Sena near Uddhav
With Eknath Shinde getting Shiv Sena's name and election symbol, old friend Uddhav Thackeray is also leaving. The names of Dr. Deepak Sawant and Bhushan Desai have also been added to this list. Both were considered personal members of the Thackeray family.
Dr. Deepak Sawant was a Shiv Sena MLA and was the Public Health Minister in the Devendra Fadnavis-led government from 2014 to 2018. Deepak Sawant was considered a member of the Thackeray family but was said to be upset when Uddhav Thackeray did not give him a ticket in the Legislative Council elections in 2018.
Before this, Subhash Desai's son Bhushan, who is very close to Uddhav Thackeray, has also joined Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena. Subhash Desai is the first MLA of Shiv Sena. Bhushan said that Balasaheb Thackeray is my God and Eknath Shinde is promoting Balasaheb's ideas of Hindutva. I like Shinde's way of working so decided to join Shiv Sena.
In Bihar, the trio of Kushwaha, Sahni, Paswan in the field
BJP has fielded the trio of Upendra Kushwaha, Mukesh Sahni and Chirag Paswan to defeat the duo of Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav in Bihar. Chirag's uncle Pashupati Paras is already with the BJP so the BJP will contest next year's Lok Sabha polls in alliance with four smaller parties. Failure in Modi's security, charge sheet against 9 officials
The Punjab government is preparing to take action against an IPS officer and 9 officers for last year's lapse in security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. State Chief Secretary V.K. Janjua has sought permission to file a charge sheet against these 9 officials. The file regarding this has been sent to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. When Modi went to Punjab on January 5, 2022, his convoy got stuck at the flyover for half an hour on its way from Bathinda Airport to Hussainiwala.
The charge sheet will be filed against DIG Siddharth Chattopadhyay, SSP Harmandeep Singh Hans, SSP Charanjit Singh, ADGP Nageshwar Rao, ADG Naresh Arora, IG Rakesh Agarwal, IG Inderveer Singh and DIG Surjit Singh besides the then Chief Secretary Anirudh Tiwari.
The central government has written to the Punjab government seeking a report on the action taken in the case of Modi's security breach. The Punjab government has sprung into action after Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla asked to explain the delay in the proceedings.
CBI be kind to Lalu's family
Delhi Court has granted bail to minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabi Devi, Misa Bharti and other accused in the case of giving jobs in exchange for land.
