Malaysian Ambassador to Cambodia Datuk Eldeen Mohd Hashin told Malaysia’s national news agency Bernama that 29 out of the identified 53 Malaysians who were believed to have been smuggled or conned into accepting jobs in online gambling syndicates in Cambodia will be repatriated from end September.
