Iran's foreign minister told the Islamic countries participating in the meeting that all Muslim countries should announce the imposition of sanctions on Israel with immediate effect. Also, the Muslim countries that have diplomatic relations with Israel should immediately expel the ambassadors of Israel from their countries. Also, Iran announced in this meeting to form a team of Islamic lawyers regarding the inhumane attacks being carried out by Israel on Gaza.
Following the meeting, the OIC issued a statement condemning the Israeli attack on a hospital in Gaza. And termed the attack as state terrorism and a war crime. In a public statement, 57 member states held Israel responsible for atrocities against Palestinian civilians. He also appealed to the United Nations to stop the atrocities being committed by Israel on Gaza. OIC stands for Organization of Islamic Cooperation, 57 countries including Iran, Saudi, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt are members of this organization. However, there was no special discussion on the attack on Israel by the terrorist organization Hamas in this meeting, nor was it criticized.
