INDIA' will go all out on the Delhi Bill, Manmohan Singh is likely to come in a wheelchair

The Delhi Ordinance is likely to be tabled in Parliament next week. Along with this, the new opposition Mahagathbandhan India has started gathering strength in the Rajya Sabha. According to reports, parties are busy ensuring 100 per cent attendance of their MPs. It is being said that many senior leaders from former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren can also be seen in Parliament.

Why is this bill being brought?

The Supreme Court empowered the Delhi government to take decisions on matters related to transfers and appointments in Delhi. Now this bill is being brought to replace the ordinance issued by the Center on regulation of services in Delhi to overturn this Supreme Court order.

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is likely to be present in the House on a wheelchair

According to opposition sources, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is likely to enter the House in a wheelchair during the introduction of this bill in the Rajya Sabha, while former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren will also be present. Manmohan Singh and Soren have been ill for a long time. JD(U) MP Bashishth Narayan Singh is also likely to arrive in an ambulance.

Whip has also been announced to be present in the House

Congress and Janata Dal (United) have already issued whips to their members to appear in the House. Trinamool Congress MP Derek O'Brien and several other opposition leaders have already written to the Rajya Sabha Speaker, saying the ordinance is a serious issue and requesting him to be informed about the bill in advance.
