The Speaker of the Rajya Sabha has taken this action against him. During the proceedings, while the MPs were asking questions, Sanjay Singh reached in front of the Speaker's chair. Sanjay Singh will suspend the entire monsoon session

Sanjay Singh was repeatedly asked by the Speaker to take his seat but he did not comply with this order. After this, Piyush Goyal said that the government is proposing suspension against Sanjay Singh and strict action should be taken against him. After the Speaker's approval, Sanjay Singh has been suspended for the entire monsoon session.

Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha proceedings have resumed. During the monsoon session of Parliament, sloganeering continues by opposition MPs in both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha demanding the Prime Minister's statement on Manipur. The opposition has surrounded the government in both houses. Currently, both the houses are adjourned till 2 pm.
