China has blocked the India-US proposal to declare Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Sajid Mir, the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, a global terrorist. This is not the first time, earlier China has consistently defended Pakistani terrorists in the United Nations.

Terrorist Sajid Mir has been declared most wanted by India. He is a Pakistani citizen of Lahore and a member of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. Sajid Mir was the master planner of the Mumbai terror attack on 26 November 2008. Sajid also handled the 'foreign affairs' function of Lashkar-e-Taiba's international wing.
A bounty of 5 million US dollars on Sajid Mir
Sajid Mir is one of India's most wanted terrorists and the US has announced a bounty of 5 million US dollars on him for his role in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. In June, Sajid Mir was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison by an anti-terrorism court in Pakistan for funding terrorists. Mir is a senior member of the Pakistan-based LeT and is wanted for his involvement in the November 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.
