In a four-page letter, Congress President Mallika Arjun Kharge raised many questions. He said that continuous flawed and hasty decisions are being taken by the Modi government due to which railway travel has become unsafe. Due to this, people traveling by train are facing difficulties.
Railway Minister is not ready to accept his mistake: Khadge
Taking Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav too lightly, Mallika Arjun Kharge said that the Railway Minister is not ready to accept his mistake. He asked then why the order of CBI inquiry was mentioned. The coming of CBI only means that a crime has been committed here, so this is not a railway accident.
Treating it like a stepmother instead of making it modern, advanced and effective: Khadge
CBI or any other law enforcement agency cannot solve the technical, organizational or political problem. Railway security is also facing shortage of technical experts, signaling and maintenance. Terming the Balasore train accident as the worst tragedy in history, Kharge said that instead of making the railway more modern, advanced and efficient, it is being treated like a stepmother.
