The Uddhav Thackeray group has boycotted the Congress dinner party over the insult of freedom fighter Veer Savarkar. Congress is attacking the BJP government after the cancellation of Rahul Gandhi's membership. On the same issue, the Congress organized a one-day Sankalp Satyagraha on Sunday, under which today all the opposition leaders reached the Parliament wearing black clothes and staged a protest. Later tonight, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge hosted a dinner party for MPs from all opposition parties. Rahul made a statement about Savarkar
Sanjay Raut said that MPs from Shiv Sena's Uddhav group, who were upset over Rahul Gandhi's statement about Savarkar, will not attend this dinner.

Uddhav got angry after Rahul's statement
Uddhav Thackeray attacked Rahul Gandhi and said, "Don't insult Veer Savarkar, he is our venerable one, we will not take Sankhi." Uddhav Thackeray said that today I publicly tell Rahul Gandhi that freedom hero Savarkar is our venerable. We will not tolerate their insults at all. Because one can only read about Savarkar. But remember their time. Then you will know that Chafekar brothers were hanged. Savarkar was only fifteen years old then. Then he took Sauganda from Ashtabhuja Mata. I will fight till I die against the British. Or, like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, he would be victorious and anoint Swarajya for the motherland, was Savarkar's ideology.
Thackeray gave an open warning
Uddhav warned Rahul Gandhi and said that Veer Savarkar is his God, insulting Savarkar will not be tolerated. Throwing an open challenge to Rahul Gandhi, Thackeray said that his party is involved in the MVA Mahavikas Aghadi, as they are fighting unitedly against the BJP to protect democracy. If you want to fight together, it is clear that insulting our Lord will not be tolerated... Uddhav said, even a line against Savarkar will not be tolerated... and this is an open warning on this public platform.
Stop insulting Veer Savarkar: Devendra Fadnavis
Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday hit out at opposition leaders in the state Legislative Council for insulting Vir Savarkar. And said that even if freedom fighter doesn't get Bharat Ratna but leaders should stop insulting him. Devendra Fadnavis has made this statement in the middle of the hanga in the legislative council on the issue of objectionable comments by some leaders on various great men. Thackeray group MLA Anil Parb raised the issue of desecration of dignitaries in the Legislative Council and targeted the ruling BJP and the Shinde group over it.
