Kevin O’Leary and internationally renowned art and fashion photographer Udo Spreitzenbarth will hold an NFT art talk on June 30, 2022, at Carlton Fine Arts on Madison Avenue in NYC.
The famous duo will be joined by Donald Thibeau, Chief Product Officer of NFT.com, to talk about the intersection between NFTs and the art world.
The NFT art talk at Carlton Fine Arts is taking place in the context of Udo Spreitzenbarth’s exhibition, Between Light and Dark. In a collection of more than twenty “Film Noir” celebrity portraits, Kevin O’Leary’s photograph serves as the centerpiece of the collection.
Unique prints of the venture capitalist and star of Shark Tank Kevin O’Leary have been made into an NFT by the groundbreaking platform NFT.com founded by Jordan Fried. The NFT of prints includes an embedded video of Kevin speaking about the creation of the image and behind-the-scenes footage of the photo shoot.
Inspired by the Baroque painter Caravaggio as well as classic Hollywood Film Noir, Udo’s characteristic use of light and shadow allow the viewer to get a glimpse into the soul of the subject, rather than just seeing the two-dimensional surface.
Udo Spreitzenbarth photos have appeared on the covers of Elle, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire and many more. He is Kevin O’Leary’s “favorite photographer.”
