From hitting gigantic sixes to picking up crucial wickets in demanding conditions Hardik Pandya has been the favourite all-rounder in one day international cricket for India. Pandya has scored a century and 18 half centuries. Pandya celebrates his 30^th birthday today.

In domestic cricket Hardik Pandya started his career with the Baroda Cricket team. He made his debut at the age of 22 in a T20 match against Australia in 2016. Hardik made a promising debut as he took two important wickets in his three over spell.

Hardik made his one day international debut against New Zealand in Dharamshala in October 2016. He had a brilliant bowling spell by taking three important wickets and giving 3 runs in a spell of 7 overs. In one day internationals Hardik has scored more than 30,000 runs taking a total of 153 wickets. His contribution in Asia Cup Cup 2023 was an important factor in India’s win in the tournament.

Hardik proved his leadership ability winning the Gujarat Titans maiden Indian Premier League IPL title in 2022. The Gujarat Titans lead by Hardik Pandya lost the IPL to the Chennai super kings. In his IPL career Hardik has played 1233 matches. He has scored total 2309 runs taking 53 wickets.

Hardik has talked about him getting inspired by Mahendra Singh Dhoni in many ways. He said MS Dhoni has a played a very important role in his cricketing career as a mentor and as a leader. Talking to the media Pandya said MS Dhoni has helped him to overcome many pressure situations in the game.

Hardik added one has to be proper devil to talk bad about Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He said he learned a lot from MS Dhoni which helped him to become a better finisher. Hardik was born in a middle class family in Surat, Gujarat in October 11,1993.
