Galata tower in Istanbul was made in 1348 is a cone shape structure which provides a panoramic view of the city. It has nine stories and hosts a cafe on its upper floors. Now tourists go to the top with the help of elevators but think about the time when people used to climb through stairs. A major attraction these days with a lot of people flocking to catch the mesmerising view of Istanbul city and Bosporus. If you enlarge the picture you can find those people busy in taking selfies.
