Today, I want to talk about a productivity hack to get things done.
Basically shutting off all distractions, and completely focusing on the tasks at hand.
In today’s “15-Minute Sprint”, which was literally a SPRINT, I took on a challenge within the 30-Day Challenge of publishing 3 Autoresponder Emails in 15 minutes and eventually, I was able to publish FIVE autoresponders.
Power Work Sessions
The concept of cutting off from distractions has been well documented and it helps keep focus to get things done.
But before you start off working, you need to have a MAP of your Email Marketing Funnel.
Create a list of:
- Assets
- Emails
- Landing Pages
That you need to complete and then power through each – one by one.
Here are a few things I recommend you do:
- Shut off your phone (put on vibration or silent) – DON’T look at your phone no matter what.
- Take out 15 minutes to 30 minutes (depending how long you can be at 100% focus).
- Close the door and tell your loved ones you’re going in work mode.
- Turn on light motivational music if that helps you concentrate
But the key part is:
ZERO DISTRACTIONS.
Following this, I was able to take autoresponder Emails that I’d published in the past – and used them to fill up our Challenge Campaign’s autoresponders.
The initial goal was to hit 3 emails; but I ended up publishing FIVE of them.
Well – this is how things get done and I hope you take on a Challenge yourself of shutting off from all distractions and putting in 100% effort in finishing your tasks at hand.
When you do get to scratch off your tasks from the ‘sticky notes’; you’ll see – it FEELS GOOD!
