How to Quickly Make Body-Mind Energizing Alkaline Juices & Drinks without a Juicer

Readers always ask me if there is a quick and convenient way to make alkaline juices and drinks without a fancy juicer. And, yes, there is! While I love my Omega Juicer and I have been using it for over five years now, sometimes I get busy and need something simple- a plan B.

Knowing how to conjure up a delicious, energizing, nutrient-rich drink quickly is a fantastic skill to have! Especially if you go traveling or are pressed for time. 

Making Alkaline Juices without a Juicer- What You Need to Know

Ok, honesty time. 

There will be certain limitations, and the list of ingredients will be very tiny (but still awesome). But we can totally do this!

This form of juicing stimulates creativity. And since it’s so easy and simple, there are no excuses!

Here’s Exactly What You Need to Make Your Super Healthy Juices

#1 A simple lemon squeezer.

Something like this one:

When life throws lemons at You – sqeeze them fast!

#2 A simple water pitcher to filter your water.

So that you can make super healthy herbal infusions for your drinks.

Personally, I use Alkanatur. It’s inexpensive, very effective and the water tastes great!

#3 Fruits to squeeze, such as lemons, limes, and grapefruits.

In case you are new to this- fruits such as lemons are actually considered alkaline (even though they taste acidic).

It’s because of their low sugar content and high mineral/vitamin profile.

The same rule applies to limes and grapefruits.

#4 Alkaline-friendly milk, for example, coconut milk or nut milk such as almond milk.

#5 Herbal infusions, such as fennel tea, mint tea, or chamomile tea. Roibosh tea is also amazing! 

If you are not too concerned about caffeine, you can also use a bit of red or green tea.

#6 Any superfood powder you wish to add, for example, turmeric powder, ginger powder, or the Organifi green powder that fuses a myriad of different superfoods.

Now, it’s time for some simple alkaline and almost alkaline recipe ideas!

Recipe #1 Almost Alkaline Morning Tea Refreshment

Readers always ask me how to quit or reduce coffee. 

If that’s You, this recipe will help for sure!

It uses a little bit of green tea (yep, not so alkaline, but it also has many other health benefits, is full of antioxidants and can help you drink less coffee without all those annoying caffeine withdrawal symptoms!) and grapefruit juice to create balance.

Ingredients:

2 grapefruits, halved (so that you can sqeeze their juices)

2 inch ginger, peeled and grated

1 cup water, boiling

1 teabag green tea

Instructions:

Combine the boling water, tea and ginger in a tea cup. Leave covered to cool down a bit.

Extract the grapefruit juice.

Combine the juice with the tea.

Drink and enjoy! I love this drink to do some writing.

Recipe #2 Sexy Coconut Drink

This recipe is super alkaline and very energizing. I love this drink in the summer, with some mint and ice cubes!

Ingredients:

2 limes, halved

1 cup coconut milk, unsweetened

stevia to sweeten, if needed

half teaspoon maca (optional)

1 teaspoon coconut oil

mint leaves to garnish and some ice cubes if needed

Instructions:

Squeeze the limes.

Combine with coconut milk

Stir in some maca powder and stevia to sweeten.

Add the coconut oil and stir well again.

Add in some ice cubes and garnish with mint if desired.

Serve and enjoy!

Recipe #3 After Workout Mineral Refreshment

Roibos tea and coconut water balance out the taste of lemons!

Not only that- this simple drink is full of nutrients and minerals to help your body thrive!

Ingredients:

2 lemons, halved

half cup coconut water

half cup roibos tea, cooled down

Instructions:

Sqeeze the lemons.

Combine the lemon juice with the roibos tea and coconut water.

Serve in a big glass, drink and enjoy!
