Gap Year Part 1 – Bus Stop

“Back off,” I say louder than I intended.

“Hey, I’m just saying in case you missed it,” Caren throws her hands up.

“I didn’t miss anything, so back off,” I enunciate as I push past her making my way down the Hall.

“Alright, I guess I’ll see you later,” Caren says just loud enough for me to Hear but not enough to sound snarky. I keep walking knowing we’re done here.

I make it to the end of the hall and make my way past the entrance, catching my sleeve on the door. Pulling my arm back, I free myself and head towards the bus stop down the street. The crisp air gets to me pretty quickly; I pull my grey hoodie up as I start running across the road. Probably not the smartest thing to do as I hear a long incessant honk behind me just as I get onto the sidewalk pavement.

I look to my left when the honking hasn’t stopped and shout out to the black Honda, “this is a freaking school zone you arshlock!”

The remainder of the story is on Wattpad

I didn’t edit this time. I just wrote but it still took me so long. This is essentially my attempt at NaNoWrimo.
