We snapped these photos on Frannie and the Fox's outdoor patio, which is the restaurant within the Hotel we stayed in, Hotel Emeline. We loved our stay, and it's in an ideal location to be in the thick of it all. We could walk to almost everything and hop, skip, and jump away from our favorite restaurant, 167 Raw. The Hotel Emeline rooms were small but well-appointed. It's pet-friendly and we saw so many adorable dogs that made us miss Henry! We have decided we will bring him on our trip next year! I also loved that there were industrial-sized Nespresso machines on every floor and water bottle-filling stations where you could get both sparkling and flat-filtered water. I am a happy camper if I can stay hydrated and caffeinated while traveling!

Frannie and the Fox was adorable, and our favorite part was the back bar called the Den, which had unique takes on martinis. My favorite was the Tomato, where the bartender explained that they lightly muddled a single grape tomato. It was one of the best drinks I've ever had. So much so that we returned again the second night for another round. During the afternoon, they have a wine hour where hotel guests can emjoy complimentary beer and wine in the lobby area or out on this lovely patio. We were the only ones taking advantage of the sunshine. While breezy, we gladly enjoyed our wine outdoors and snapped these photos! 

I wore this outfit for our very early morning flight and well into the late afternoon before I got dressed up for our dinner reservations, and it served me very well. The Jeans are so flattering and look polished in a dark wash. They have a bit of stretch to them, making them comfortable and easy to fly in. 

I love to wear light layers when traveling because you never know what temperature you will find yourself in. One minute, you are in a cold airport; the next minute, you are in a sweltering plane, and 5 minutes later, the plane is cold, and then you land somewhere warmer than where you came from, and then you are sweating from running to get to your gate or hauling your luggage. It's such a toss-up and the best way I have found to be comfortable is with many light layers that I can control. 

I am so sad to report that I *lost* this incredibly stunning Pink cashmere scarf/wrap. SO SAD. It's reversible, too, which is great for traveling because it's like 2 looks in 1. The cashmere was thick and buttery soft. Incredible quality and a great large size. You could wear it as a scarf but as a wrap with a dress or over your lap as a blanket when traveling. It was also the perfect pop of color for this otherwise neutral outfit. This would make a gorgeous gift for someone special. I'm not one to lose things, so I am really beating myself up over this one! Anyway, my 20% off code SYDNEY20 is coming in handy as I get myself a pink scarf!
