Various parts of Mumbai receives pre-monsoon rainfall and dust storm. Not only this, almost every part of India is receiving pre-monsoon rainfall. Meanwhile, on last night, pre-monsoon showers along with dust storms and thunderstorms arrived in the country. Recently, Mumbai has also received pre-monsoon rainfall with dust storms. Along with Mumbai, various of its neighbouring areas have also received heavy showers like Kalyan, Thane, Borivali, Dombilvi, Kandivali, Goregaon and Powai.

Whereas the weather report says that the monsoon is going to arrive in Mumbai after 10th of June. The Meteorological Department of India has said that it is an earlier arrival of monsoon. The officials further said that it’s just the beginning. The monsoon is yet to arrive in Maharashtra. The pre-monsoon rains are still continuing in the state.

On Staurday night, the heavy rainfall started in the city along with many other neighbouring areas. But the temperature has not yet decreased. The high humidity and high temperatures are still continuing which had made it extremely uncomfortable. Whereas, Various parts of Mumbai receives pre-monsoon rainfall and dust storm yesterday.

Meanwhile, the pre-monsoon rainfall have also arrived in North Indiawhich has dropped the temperature to 38.3 degree celcius especially in Delhi-NCR region.

The Meteorological Departmnet of India predicted to receive extremely heavy rainfall in the northeastern parts of India of Sikkim, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland and Assam on Sunday.

Whereas various parts of Rajasthan such as Churu, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Srigangagar and Kota recorded 47 degrees Celcius respectively. The Meteorological Department of India predicted the arrival of pre-monsoon rainfall with heavy dust storms at isolated places over Rajasthan.

Uttar Pradesh has also welcomed the onset of pre-monsoon rainfall in various areas such as Kanpur, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Meerut, Bareilly, Lucknow, Faizabad and Moradabad.

As per the reports of Meteorological Department of India, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana are likely to receive heavy ranfall, gusty winds and lightening. Most of the parts of Southern India are expected to receive heavy showers and thunderstom in the next two days.

Due to the heavy rainfall in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, around 18 people were reported dead leaving 11 other injured. After the heavy rainfall, the temperature dipped was below normal.

Haryana has also received heavy rainfall along with several oarts of Punjab. However, the Meteorological Department of India predicted that the weather of both the states will be dry in next 48 hours.

Due to the heavy rainfall in Mumbai, various flights have been cancelled at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
