Matt’s remit includes public sector reform and the digital transformation of government. Part of this involves meeting and collaborating with Tech entrepreneurs, to get inspiration on how the UK’s digital revolution can be taken to the next level.

The Croydon Tech City initiative champions tech businesses, skills and opportunities in this part of South London, where dotmailer opened its first base in 1999. So it’s only natural that Matt would want to pay a visit to No. 1 Croydon and meet the tech team behind the UK’s number one email marketing platform.

As well as Matt’s presentation, the launch event will see the management team of Croydon Tech City unveiling their plans for 2016. Croydon is already home to more than 1,000 startups, and thanks to the work of CTC founders Jonny Rose, Nigel Dias, Simon Tomes and Sarah Luxford, the area is set to thrive over the next 12 months as an affordable alternative to the likes of Old Street and Canada Square.
