Just like Ms.S. and Mr.I.,
My brother and I are 4.5 years apart. I am the elder one.
The older child according to my existence is supposed to be motherly/fatherly to the younger sibling. Unfortunately I was the absolute opposite to my one and only younger sibling.

The reason I share this is to spread awareness, KARMA bites. Every time I share events of the day with my parents and brother, they magically end up reminiscing similar stories.

Anyway,

Ms.S. : MUMMY, come fast. the Lift has gone for the second time.
Me: A minute, putting on bhai’s shoe.
Rushes to the lift.

Ms.S.: Aiyyah mummy, the lift went away twice, do you know how rude this is? I’m extremely disappointed in you.

I remember repeating this exact “I’m disappointed in you”, after an episode that happened in an online class I was doing. I think I should stop sharing things around her.

Nonetheless, when narrating this event to my brother, he responded with, “What do you expect, she is your daughter. and remember…………..”

I was reminded that history repeating itself bedazzled with Karma is what I am hit with every single time.
