Here and After.

Fabricating stories for strangers and smiles for the kin.

Darkness at my doorstep, midnight forever on the other side.

In hopes of seeing the Sunrise, this insomniac peeps out of the window,

Unaware,  the Death clock ticks, fingers start shivering, eyes water, skin goes pale.

The distant vision of his life without you, like the other end of the rainbow.

Right behind in this eerie concrete mass, his existence with you.

The longing kills.

My legs give up, lying on the death bed,

The one whose presence matters still seems distant.

Everyone is waiting for the sunrise, when it finally shines; I see with my dying eyes,

Crumbled pieces of my body. Shattered pieces of my soul.

Darkness fades away, like i do.
