Teenagers, Teenagers, Teenagers. I don’t know what the heck you guys are smoking out there in teenworld 2017, but you have taken it upon yourselves to wear you jean Pants, short shorts and other leg covering materials above your belly button. I mean c.mon, the 80’s kind of gave us a little heads up on the all kinds of nasty this look can generate once released to the masses. no? and, Yes, I’m well aware this  has been going on for a while now, but seriously, I thought it was a phase, a small glitch in your design. a slight veer off the good teen fashion path. I’m down with that. My generation had see through glitter plastic shoes and  Spice World.  I let it slip for a year or two. Until, god forbid, I saw one of my own wearing the pant over her mama tum and my little aging beating heart got very, very frightened.  Has this fashion faux become a mainstream hit? Will my local discount chain store be stocking these next to the maternity section by June? The Hypocrisy! the Injustice! What kind of world is this where those over 21 will be made to wear our pantaloons over our belly buttons. Guys, your little concave  sprightly tummy tum tums look great no matter where a jean pant is placed on them. The opposite sex do not even notice your attire  (I am sorry to tell you this, I too spent all my money sporadically clothing my body at 18. ) But us of many a year and child, us long in the tooth and wide in the girth, I fear its not a great look for us. But, I know not of this age’s appleasing aesthetics. So for real. tell me dear teenage fashionistas of the interweblink. tell me. Where the good fuck do my pants go?
