Documentation of Heritage Buildings
Council of Architecture Training and Research Centre (COA -TRC) organized Teacher’s Training Program on Documentation of Heritage Buildings in association with our college from 18th to 22nd September 2017.The inaugural session was headed by Ar. Ashok Mokha , Ar. Pradyumna Sahasra bhojaneeand Dr. UjjwalaChakradeo.
This training program was aimed at training the teachers from various colleges of architecture in the process of documentation of heritage structures. Sessions were conducted by eminent conservation architects and professionals regarding the importance of documentation; the methods, techniques and tools available;software advancement in this field; on-site documentation experience; documentation process adopted for monuments and heritage sites in India; tangible and intangible aspects of heritage and its documentation and the design of heritage walk.
The program concluded with presentation of the work done and valedictory event presided by Prof. AbhayPurohit, Ar. VishakhaKawathekar and Dr. UjjwalaChakradeo.
The training program was successfully conducted by Dr. Neeta Lambe and her team.
