New Delhi, The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) began questioning former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad (Lalu Prasad Yadav) on Tuesday as part of its investigation into the land labor scam case. The officers provided this information. The case concerns the family of Lalu Prasad who allegedly got a job with the Railways instead of giving away or selling land. This case refers to when Prasad was Minister of Railways between 2004 and 2009.

A day before this, the wife of the RJD supremo and former Bihar chief minister, Rabri Devi, had been questioned by the CBI for around five hours at her Patna residence. According to the officials, a team of five CBI officers in two cars arrived at Misa Bharti’s residence in Pandara Park, where Prasad is currently staying, at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday. The interrogation of her will continue throughout the day.

He said the CBI has already filed a charge sheet against Prasad, Rabri Devi and 14 others in the case under criminal conspiracy and provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act and summoned all the accused to appear in court on March, 15th. He has gone. He said the questioning is being done as an “additional investigation” in which the investigative agency is trying to uncover the money trail and the larger conspiracy.

Prasad has been convicted in the fodder scam case and is currently ill. The new questioning of him and his wife drew strong criticism from opposition parties on Monday. Prasad’s youngest son and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav said his family has consistently opposed the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Center and that is the reason why the CBI team came to the residence of the Former Prime Minister Rabri Devi.
