Chromebooks have different variety of processors and no doubt that the most powerful and the successful model is packed with Intel inside. But now Asus is the first manufacturer to ship Chromebook with new Intel Bay Trail processor running out the C300 (13-inch) and the C200 (11-inch) models. It has a very long history of making laptop and it has even made the Chromebox before but this is the first shot at Chromebook.
When it comes to the internal specification the C300 Chromebook is not so much shed burner. You get the same 13.3-inch 1366x768 display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and new Intel Bay Trail Celeron dual-core processor regulated at 2.16GHz. The real thing to focus over here is the processor whereas the rest of the specification all the same. The retails price is $249 but you will not find much fault in internals.

The keyboard has shallow keys with lots of spring to give a great tactile response to keystrokes. Generally laptop with this price you will get a backlit keyboard so you can’t complain Asus for this.
