Chicken Corn Soup | Vegetable Chicken Corn Soup




Chicken Corn Soup - This is one of the most delicious soup recipe and a quick dinner idea. Those readers who are searching for a low carb diet and healthy recipes, they are just at the right place. Again a beautiful recipe by a famous Chef Zakir. I love to follow his recipes because of its authenticity and taste. This soup is always preferred to be taken as appetizer. Whenever we went to some restaurant with my parents, my dad always used to order
Chicken Corn Soup or Hot and Sour Soup first. These are very easy and simple to make, you should make it especially in winters. But to me there is no specific bounding to have this soup only in winters. Whenever you want, just cook and it will be ready in few minutes. I have added vegetables into the soup, you may omit it as per as your choice. Let's hop over to the delicious recipe ;

VEGETABLE CHICKEN CORN SOUP


Preparation Time : 5 to 10 minutes
Cooking Time : 15 to 20 minutes
Serves: 1 to 2

Ingredients:

 

  • 100 grams of boiled boneless Chicken
  • 3 cups of Chicken broth
    (DO YOU KNOW "What is difference between Chicken Stock and Chicken Broth?" ) 
  • 1/2 cup of sweet corns (you may exceed its quantity depending upon your choice)
  • 4 tablespoons of Corn Flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/3 teaspoon of Black Pepper
  • 1/3 teaspoon of White Pepper
  • 1 Medium Sized Chopped carrot
  • 1 medium sized chopped Green Onion
  • 1 teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of Chili Sauce 
  • 2 egg whites






Procedure to be followed:


STEP 1 : In a wok, boil carrots, green onion and boiled chicken in chicken stock for 10 to 15 minutes. Cover it with lid and keep it aside.


STEP 2 : Take out vegetables from Chicken Stock. Again place wok on heat, Add salt, black pepper, white pepper, soy sauce, apple cider Vinegar, chili sauce and salt into stock.


STEP 3 :  Add in cornflour in 1/2 cup of water and add in to the stock. Stir continuously in order to avoid lumps. Meanwhile, beat egg whites and add in boiled vegetables and Chicken (which was taken out previously).


STEP 4 : When soup gets started to thick, turn off the flame. Your soup is ready to serve with sauces and green chilies.
