Serving up a menu of inventive gin cocktails and nibbles just off the Royal Mile until the 30th September 2017, the bar will be a welcome respite for hungry festival-goers, tourists and city-dwellers looking for a post-work tipple.
Come rain or shine, G&V and Daffy’s Gin expert mixologists will be on hand to serve a variety of beverages at the bar, including the renowned Daffy’s ‘D&T’ and the delicious ‘G&Bees’ Spritz, a combination of Daffy’s gin, apricot brandy, orange blossom, soda and home-produced honey from G&V’s rooftop beehives. Other highlights include the ‘Secret Manuscript’, a heady concoction that fuses Daffy’s gin with lemon, yellow chartreuse and strawberry balsamic.
G&V is delighted to be partnering with Edinburgh-based gin distillers Daffy’s Gin, whose premium gin is carefully distilled with the finest botanicals on an ancient copper still, as part of its continual effort and commitment to working with Scottish brands and designers.
The opening of G&V’s Daffy’s Gin Pop-Up comes amid a number of exciting changes for this luxury property based on George IV Bridge, including the launch of Edinburgh’s hottest new bar Epicurean, whose upbeat vibe and delicious cocktails provide an inviting atmosphere for Edinburgh residents and guests alike. Other recent changes include a fully refurbished new lobby and reception area and a brand-new menu at Cucina, the hotel’s award-winning Italian restaurant, designed by executive chef Mattia Camorani.
